Rendzina is named after one of the distinctive soils in which the vines grow, contributing to the rich diversity of wine produced by the  winemakers in  McLaren Vale. The name honours the earth,  the rendzina and  terra rossa soils, soft sands and dark crackling clays supporting the root structure of the vines.
